Donations Needed for Tombola Jars!
Tombola Jars are BACK! This year we are switching to PLASTIC (for safety concerns).
WHAT ARE TOMBOLA JARS?
At this station prizes (jars filled with treats) are donated in advance, assigned a number, and put on display. At the fair, children can use tickets to partake. They draw a number AND win the corresponding numbered jar (Ex. Draw #34, and win the jar that is labelled “34”).
- We are asking EACH student to contribute at least ONE prize for this station. We plan to send each student home with a Tennis Ball can week of May 26 to return filled and ready for action!
- STEP 1: Get a CLEAN PLASTIC JAR. (Tennis Ball Can, or Clean Mayonnaise Jar). If you don’t have any at home you can get from Bulk Barn
STEP 2: Fill it with candy Ex: School-safe candy (gumballs, nut-free chocolate, gummies), Fidget Toys (new items only)
STEP 3: Label your jar. Stick masking tape to the jar with your child’s name, and classroom number and they could WIN a prize!
STEP 4: Drop it off at school starting next week. We will have a box outside the school office where you can leave your donations.
There will be a PRIZE for the student who donates …
- The MOST tombola jars
- The MOST CREATIVE tombola jar
Thanks in advance for your support! ????
