The annual Winter Fair is here! On Saturday November 26th, 10am to 3pm the school will be a winter wonderland of activity! It’s a great day out for the whole family and an important school fundraiser that promises to be fun!

Wristbands Early Bird Special

Order your wristband today using school cash online https://tdsb.schoolcashonline.com/ 

Wristbands are $25 if purchased by Thursday November 24th or while stocks last or $30 at the Fair. Great value that includes:

  • Four rides or games in the Lower and Upper Games Zones including – Toy Story Bouncy, Mini Obstacle Course, The Big Kahuna Slide, Table Top Pac Man, Marvel Arcade Table and Cosmic Arena! ($3/each)
  • Virtual Reality Roller Coaster ($5)
  • One treatment in the Salon & Spa ($2/treatment)
  • Access to the Happy Feet Dance Room ($1)
  • Access to the Winter Wonderland Room ($1)
  • Photo with Santa ($5)
  • Maker Kids activity ($3)
  • Pizza Lunch (choice of 2 slices of pepperoni or cheese pizza and a snack) ($6)

*prices in () is equivalent cost in tickets without wristband

Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to use at the school water stations!

If you would like your child to participate but for any reason you can not purchase them a wristband, the FSA will donate a wristband for them. Please e-mail Principal Hochberg at rob.hochberg@tdsb.on.ca
Information will be kept confidential and the child’s name will be added to the wristband list with all of the rest.

Pick up your wristband on the morning of the Fair at the information desk near Cleveland St entrance. Tickets can also be purchased at the Fair for $1 each.

 

Volunteers

So many things you could help with, from set up, to tear down, to helping out at an attraction or stall for an hour. Please click on the link (or copy and paste into your browser):

·Students that are in Grade 5 or older are eligible to help!

·         High school students can record community service hours for their graduation requirement!

Do you have new or gently used items like:

·         Toys, games & puzzles (please not broken or missing parts)

·         Jewellery & Accessories

·         Anything else that could be sold as a gift

A classroom at the fair will be transformed into a shopping extravaganza of gifts and treasures for students to purchase for their families for the upcoming holidays!

 

Donation boxes are located outside the library and the atrium for collection.

Used Cody Swag

We are also collecting gently used Cody Swag – please dig it out and send it in – collection box for used swag is outside the library.

Bake Sale

 

Please help out our school by making your favourite goodie.  All treats must be NUT AND SEED FREE and can be dropped off to B6 starting at 9am (or as early as possible after that time) on the morning of the fair.  Please consider providing something that matches your child’s grade (see below), or do feel free to bring whatever your baking ‘talent’ may be!

·         JK/SK and Grade 2 – Bars/Squares of any kind (brownies, Rice Krispie treats, lemon squares)

·         Grades 1 and 3 – Cookies of any kind (including Christmas & Hanukkah shapes)

·         Grade 2 & 5 – Cupcakes or muffins, donuts

·         Grade 4 – Cakes for Musical Cakes!!

 

Please donate your goodies in something disposable or recyclable.  If not, please put your name and email address on your container and pick it before you leave the fair at the end of the day.
