Know Before You Go - 2024 Winter Fair

When: Saturday November 30, 2024 from 9:30 am (choir opens the fair), 10am – 2pm (attractions open)

Where: Basement level of Maurice Cody

Who: The Cody Fair is for everyone!

How you can get involved: Please volunteer for the event or donate to the attractions – email ashley.adler.watt@gmail.com for information.

Why: The Cody Fair is a fun annual event put on by the FSA.  It is a very big, important fundraiser, supporting student enrichment.

WhatInflatables & Bouncy Castles, Black Light Arcade, Cotton Candy, Lunch, Lucky Dip, Swifty Bracelet Room, Raffles, Bake Sale, Aunt Edna’s Shopping Emporium, Local Marketplace shops and MORE!!!!

Wristbands:  Wristbands are now available with early bird pricing of $30 via School Cash Online! (until Thursday, November 28th) and for $40 at the Fair!

If you would like your child to participate at the Winter fair and are unable to purchase a wristband, the FSA will donate a wristband.  Please email Principal Hochberg (rob.hochberg@tdsb.on.ca). All requests will be kept confidential.

 

Tickets are needed for all other attractions and will be available for purchase on the day of the fair. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased in advance on School Cash Online or on the day of the fair at the info table.  Attraction costs range from 1 to 5 tickets each. Buy tickets for the raffle, spa, lucky dip, cotton candy, bake sale and so many more attractions! 

 

 

New & Used Toy and Book Donations Needed: To help make the Raffle, Aunt Edna’s Shopping, and Lucky Dip attractions super fun for the kids, we are looking for new and gently used toys!

 

Please drop off new toys or other fun donations in the bin by the Library or outside of the Atrium. If you prefer to contribute to the raffle with a gift card (Mastermind Toys, Amazon, Costco, Winners,Canadian Tire), please email Ashley at ashley.adler.watt@gmail.com.

 

 

Bake Sale: We are looking for bakers young and old to contribute their favourite nut-free baked goods!  Baked goods (store bought works too!) can be dropped-off the morning of the fair at the Bake Sale booth. Simply follow the items suggested by grade, but of course happy to accept any and all nut-free items.

Volunteers Needed: We URGENTLY need your help please as the fair is run entirely by volunteers! *The class with the most hours of volunteers will win a MOVIE & TREAT Party (check in on the day of the fair at the Volunteer Booth at Door 4 to record your hours). We are asking every family to volunteer at least one hour of their time at the fair (can be a parent/guardian, grandparent).
